This is the home page of Sullivan & Son Independent Funeral Directors. We are a small family funeral service based in Dover but can cover all areas offering a complete and personal service 24 hours a day, everyday.

At our beautiful premises at 12 Beaconsfield Road, Dover, we have a comfortable reception/waiting room with a sofa and chairs and a bright and friendly arrangement room and office.  Funeral arrangements can be made here between 9-5 weekdays or at other times by appointment. Alternatively arrangements can be made in the comfort of your own home at no extra cost.

For those wishing to make funeral arrangements from outside of Kent I can assist with everything via e-mail or telephone and post all of the necessary paperwork to you.  Registration of the death by "declaration" at a registrars near you is possible in these cases, although this will lead to a delay in the funeral.

For those wishing to see their loved one we have a large, serene chapel of rest.  This has fresh flowers always, a candle and a beautiful, uniquely commissioned stained glass window.  This was designed and built by Mr Derek White who spent 30 years at Canterbury Cathedral. It depicts the setting/rising sun over the sea and has been said to be both peaceful, comforting and uplifting by our many visitors.  The non-denominational chapel was officially opened and blessed following a dedication service by the Reverend David Ridley and Father Peter Madden. It is available for everyone and can be personalized with objects, cards, or photo's of your loved one to make the chapel visit a comforting and memorable experience.

 We have full access for the disabled or infirm with no steps at all to negotiate and a full specification disabled toilet. Refreshments are available to visitors at no additional cost and we have a free parking space for visitors outside our rear gates (on Millais Road).
