Payment Terms: Disbursement Costs or 50% of the total estimate (whichever is greater) to be paid before the funeral and final settlement within 28 days of the funeral. Cash, cheques, bacs, debit or credit cards accepted nb variable surcharge for all credit card payments
here or visit your nearest Jobcenter for help and a claim form. Please note that a Social fund payment will NOT usually pay for the entire funeral and can take several months to process. Disbursement costs still need to be paid before the funeral date and settlement of the final invoice within 28 days of the funeral. If a payment is later awarded from the Social Fund then any difference will be refunded to you.
